Driving south through Indiana I stopped first at the RV museum in Elkhart. That was a lot of fun to see older campers and trailers. I then drove down the western side of the state through Parke County where there are more covered bridges. I took a quick side trip to Casey, Illinois, considered a small town with big things. They are known for more giant things than anywhere else. Giant rocker, pencil, mailbox and the list goes on. I did a river kayak trip through the Turkey run state park. And then stayed south at a beautiful little park and just spent time on the kayak in their lake.
